Rental Policy
Please review all policies before submitting a rental request. By submitting a request you agree to these terms.
Event Approval
Management must approve all events prior to booking. Auctions, gun shows, wholesale events, and wedding ceremonies are prohibited. Wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, anniversaries, reunions, birthdays, and fundraisers are all welcome.
Facility Access
Renters have use of the hall, kitchen, pavilion, and grounds. Lake access is strictly prohibited. No fishing, swimming, or use of the lake or its shoreline is permitted.
Financial Requirements
Two deposits are required: a rental deposit (50% of the rental fee) and a $250 damage deposit. Full payment must be completed at the pre-rental meeting. Clients may handle their own cleaning or pay an additional fee for professional cleaning services.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits may transfer to a new date if rescheduling occurs more than 90 days in advance. Cancelling or rescheduling within 90 days of the event may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Alcohol & Insurance
Alcohol service is permitted only for legal-age guests. If selling or serving alcohol, clients must secure the appropriate permits and provide proof of liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 in general liability coverage with host liquor liability, listing Spirit Hall as an additional insured. Failure to provide proof of insurance may result in cancellation of the rental.
Decorations & Cleanup
No nails, tacks, or tape are allowed on walls or ceilings. Decorations must use designated hooks only. After the event, renters must store all tables and chairs, sweep floors, and properly dispose of all trash.
Prohibited Activities
Fireworks, firearms (with limited exceptions), flammable substances, fishing, swimming, lake access, and smoking within 20 feet of any building are strictly prohibited.
Closing Time
Music and alcohol service must end by midnight. All guests must vacate the premises by 1:00 a.m.
